These blog-posts are about fashion, accessories, things we might like, but don’t necessarily need, not about things political; but I realise, this week more than ever, everything is political, so many of our everyday (little, or big) choices are.
I’m guessing so many of us, who have had the fortune – good or bad – to be based at home for the last however many weeks/months have found we may have self-soothed with some internet shopping in the absence of being able to actually go to a real life shop to touch and feel.
Yes I’ve ordered clothes etc if I thought that they might be ‘the one’ that I’d been searching for, but I’ve pretty much sent them everything back, because either I’ve got something almost identical already, or don’t have, for the foreseeable future, cause or need for something other than my jeans and t-shirt/sweatshirt uniform – ultimately my heart really isn’t in it.
However, my much loved and worn Rolling Stones t-shirt has reached the point of no return. It’s at least 7 or 8 years old. Not just #30wears, but #90wears and now being currently worn for Lock-down DIY – there is no way now it can go out beyond the perimeters of the garden.
My search for a possible replacement/update t-shirt took me into the realms of charity t-shirts too – always a brilliant way to raise funds and as importantly, awareness…
This design has been around for some time, still so cool.
