Easy-breezy dresses

Officially summer is here. Hurrah.

For someone who has gone on about finding summer dresses that I like/I think suit me tricky… I think I’m having a change of heart, now is perhaps the time to embrace and get with the programme; I’m thinking that wafty easy breezy dresses are the way forward; dresses that allow a cooling up-wind if required (whilst maintaining dignity naturally).

Dresses where nothing is too clingy (perfect for a buffet as well, just saying) but whilst saying this I do appreciate that wafty dresses can move into sack status which can be tricky and somewhat off-putting. The only added pounds I’d really like are to my bank account not my person.

As bonkers as it sounds, I think we’re getting our eye in as it were in that loose-buffet-midi-maxi-all-encompassing-dresses are a thing. (Hello again anything to do with being comfortable and unrestrained… non wired bras, trainers, flat shoes etc etc? – there is no way we’re going to be giving any of this up.)

The shapeless dress thing, though I do get it… for me, whilst I don’t want to wear anything too clingy, anything too shapeless can do me no favours either. It’s not easy is it? (Side note, many of these can be cinched in with a belt if a smarter look is required.)

Moving on. To go with the comfort of a loose dress, flat sandals to keep toes loose and free. Bliss.
